Fouzia Boulmedais
Institut Charles Sadron, Strasbourg

Laurent Gervat
Renault
Laurent Gervat, PhD, is the Expert for Technical Polymers and Composites at Renault, an international automobile manufacturer headquartered in France. He also leads the Upstream Strategy Material Team, which is composed of buyers and engineers. Together they define the strategy for selecting and prescribing plastics and composites for Renault. In parallel to its industrial career, he joined the boards of the SFIP (Société Française des Ingénieurs des Plastiques) and the GFP (Groupe Français des Polymères). He also teaches polymer science at EPF Engineering School.

Daniel Taton
Laboratory of Organic Polymer Chemistry, Bordeaux
Daniel Taton holds a professorship position at the University of Bordeaux, France and develops his research activities at the Laboratory of Organic Polymer Chemistry (LCPO) of which he is the deputy director since 2018. These activities are focused on both “catalysis of polymerization” and “polymerization for catalysis”. He is interested in small and easily accessible "task-specific" organic molecules to broaden the range of monomers polymerizable by an organic catalysis pathway, possibly under conditions that are easy to implement, in order to access a variety of metal-free specialty polymers. His team has also developed recyclable polymeric supports for the compartmentalization of catalysts, which provides unique catalytic activity in benchmark reactions of molecular chemistry, including in aqueous media. More recently, he has initiated a new line of research at LCPO focusing on the recycling and/or chemical upcycling of polymers known for their robustness but considered recalcitrant. D. Taton has co-authored bout 160 publications in peer-review journals, 15 book chapters and has filed 17 patents.

Elodie Bourgeat-Lami
Laboratory of Catalysis, Polymerization, Processes and Materials (CP2M), Villeurbanne
Elodie Bourgeat-Lami is CNRS Research Director at the Laboratory of Catalysis, Polymerization, Processes and Materials (CP2M) located at the Ecole Supérieure de Chimie Physique Electronique de Lyon in Villeurbanne, France. Her research focuses on the development of innovative strategies toward the design of nanostructured particles with controlled morphologies for optical, electronic or coating applications, using conventional and/or living radical polymerization techniques. Her current interests encompass the elaboration of graphene-based nanocomposite inks for printed electronics, pigment encapsulation for electrophoretic ink displays and the implementation of dynamic covalent chemistries in polymer latexes for the formation of crosslinked films with vitrimer properties. An important aspect of her current research is the synthesis of Pickering latexes through thermal or visible light-mediated emulsion polymerization using newly developed photo-initiating systems. She has (co)supervised to date 37 PhD students, given ~ 60 invited lectures in national or international conferences and published ten book chapters, 9 patents and ~ 200 articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Julien Portal
L'Oréal Group's Research & Innovation
Julien Portal has been working in L'Oréal Group's Research & Innovation department for 15 years. After a career in designing new polymers for cosmetic formulations, he is now in charge of a Transversal Platform for Performance Evaluation from the raw material scale to finished formulas. During these years, he has been able to develop skills both in chemical and biotechnological synthesis/design of polymers, as well as in physico-chemical characterizations and evaluations of their application properties. In parallel with this industrial career, he joined the board of the Groupe Français des Polymères (GFP) this year and is also a member of the board of the Société Française du Vide, Section Française de l’Adhésion (SFA).
